YOU MUST LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, AND ALL YOUR MIND

LOVE GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY: LIVE IN A WAY THAT MAKES HIM YOUR FIRST PRIORITY

“You shall have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3

God says, "I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him. For the Lord is your life." Deuteronomy 30:19-20

“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.”  1 Chronicles 16:11

“Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God.”  1 Chronicles 22:19

"Acknowledge God, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you." 1 Chronicles 28:9

"I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands." Psalm 119:10

"'I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jesus said, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, your heart will be also... If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light...You cannot serve God and money. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your clothes, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?... Your heavenly Father knows that you need them.. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:19-33

LOVE GOD OPENLY: LIVE IN A WAY THAT MAKES IT OBVIOUS YOU PUT HIM FIRST

LOVE GOD REVERENTLY: LIVE IN A WAY THAT HONORS HIS CHARACTER AND REPUTATION

“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name." Exodus 20:7

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10

"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

"I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37

"So then each of us will give an account of himself to God." Romans 14:12

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." 2 Corinthians 5:10

LOVE GOD HUMBLY: LIVE IN A WAY THAT DEPENDS ON HIM

"Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work." Exodus 20:9-10

"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops" Proverbs 3:9

"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" Psalm 56:3-4

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.” Jeremiah 17:7

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
